How to use your credit
Once your item is received, you will be credited directly to your account. You may choose to redeem this credit against one or multiple purchases, at any time. Simply turn your credit into a voucher of your choice. To get a voucher, log into your account and go to 'My credit'.
What you can sell
Your item must be free from holes, stains or odours. Any moderate signs of wear, visible defects or alterations will not be accepted. Please ensure your item contains all internal garment and care labels.FAQs
How does the online trade-in service work?
Follow the simple steps of our trade-in module to sell an item back to us. You must create an account and send us the item within the stated timeframe. We provide you the pre-paid label and a Transfer Form which you must sign and include in the shipment. As soon as we receive your item(s), our Quality Experts will check the condition of your item(s). If the trade-in conditions are met, you will be notified by email and receive the credit via your account.
How will I receive the money for my trade-ins and do I have to wait until my item is sold to receive my credit?
No need to wait for your item to be sold. Once your trade-in has been checked and validated by our quality experts, you will receive your payment in the form of credit, available in your Temperley Vintage account. You will then be able to generate a voucher, which you can redeem either on the Temperley Vintage website for second-hand, or on the Temperley London website for new product.
What are the acceptance criteria and do you return items deemed to be in poor condition?
Your item must be free from holes, stains or odours. Any moderate signs of wear, visible defects or alterations will not be accepted. Please ensure your item contains both the original brand label and inner care label.
Only original Temperley London items may be accepted. This excludes Temperley Bridal, Somerset by Alice Temperley, Alice by Temperley, or any other licencing or collaboration product.
We currently do not accept items from current season, nor items older than Spring Summer 2018.
The acceptable condition ratings are as follows:
New: Never worn, with original tags
Excellent: Virtually new, with no signs of wear or visible flaws
Very good: Worn, but has no imperfections
We do not accept any items in any other condition: damaged, altered, with odour, stained, misshapen, with the internal labels cut off, etc.
In accordance with our Terms and Conditions, items that do not meet these criteria will be refused and instead be donated to charities or re/upcycling programmes.
Only original Temperley London items may be accepted. This excludes Temperley Bridal, Somerset by Alice Temperley, Alice by Temperley, or any other licencing or collaboration product.

Are the sent items reconditioned?
Upon receipt of your item(s), our experts will authenticate and review the product condition. If accepted, the item is reconditioned (ironed, spot cleaned, repaired) as neccessary, ready for resale.
